November Update

Greetings from a wet and hot Zimbabwe! Dorothy and I have been in USA for the first time since 2019 and we had lots of preaching and fundraisers for Jabulani. It was so good to meet up with lots of friends and share Gods Word in old and new Churches as well as experience the blessings of generosity from many friends of Jabulani in that amazing country, Gods hand was certainly on the trip and we praise Him for all that was accomplished in His Name.

Our Jabulani children are all heavily involved in study and sports at Maranatha Schools, the older girls are on the netball and hockey teams, Joseph is trying out rugby as well as soccer and they are also on the school swim team. Our  6 little girls  are on the hockey and basketball teams, Faith is  trying tennis this term while the others are all on the swim team, they are all exhausted every night after coming home from school! There is a lot of homework and the exams start this week, please pray they will do well and increase their scores this term.

The children are still wearing masks at school and there are COVID rules still in place throughout Zimbabwe, but Churches are operating again and we are slowly coming out of the pandemic praise God, we are especially grateful to God for our care staff working closely with us and the children and seeking to guide them along the path of God. Please pray for them all.

Everyone is growing up fast, Faith turned 11 years old in September And sweet Kuda who was only given days to live when we found her is now 15 years old! Our miracle girl, she is in good health and doing very well these days, she is still enjoying her own company and doesn’t like too much noise, please keep praying for them all for health and strength.

We continue to pray Luke 2:42 over all our children .. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Our Grandchildren are working hard at school also, we are very proud of them all. Lois had superb scores in her GCSE results with 10 A*, Noah is in his final year at school and working towards University gearing towards sports while Jonah  is busy in year 2 at High school. Daniel is enjoying his time serving the Lord in George, South Africa and God is very much with him, please pray God will use him greatly and guide him while he is there.

The cost of living here has gone wild along with the rest of the world, everyday goods have doubled in price along with fuel etc and we thank everyone of you who financially support Jabulani, without your help we would not be able to function…we are very grateful for your prayers and love and support. May God bless you all richly.

Joseph and Faith celebrated their 13th and 11th birthday and  a great time was had by all, Kuda is now 15…what a Saviour!

May our Lord continue to help bless and increase us all in the days ahead, much love from Jabulani, Alan and Dorothy
